SHORT STORIES / GRAVEL CYCLING

Alistair Brownlee – Badlands

Badlands is known as one of the toughest cycling challenges in the world. The race is 750km with 16,000 vertical meters and passes through some of the most remote areas of Europe. Just getting to the finish line is no mean feat. So when Alistair Brownlee decided last minute to give it go and see how his body would react to an effort that is 5-6 times longer than an Ironman, it’s fair to say that some were surprised to see him at the start line!
